go to control panel > windows firewall > advanced settings > outbound rules > block a program > choose and block all (.exe’s present in installation directory) one by one. “outbound rules”

To all who are saying it doesn’t work:
1. Before installing, turn off your internet connection(disconnect from wifi, unplug ethernet cable).
2. Then install the software.
3. Use the keygen to enter the key.
4. After that, close the program.
5. THEN completely block all connections through the firewall.
6. After that, open it up and it’ll work.

*Little mistake
Close your internet connection AFTER installing the program, and make sure not to open it once done.
Then turn off your internet connection and a run the file provided.
After that, use either the keygen or the keys provided and activate the software.
Then block all connections through firewall and open up Camtasia again.
It’ll be working.

Guest was correct and that method does work you have to experiment with more than one serial number. Also make sure that you try this after installation and if registration fails as a last resort

The keys Are not working……. while i connect to the internet again the camtasia ask me to register or buy
you have to apply hostspatch.bat as admin in order to get keys to work. or alternatively you can block all .exe’s of camtasia present in installation directory via firewall outbound rules.

No good. Did EXACTLY what the instructions say. Added the recommended Firewall rules. Stuck in trial mode because Camtasia can’t connect to verify the key.
You have to activate first then block camtasia cia firewall
